To Captain "Hollywood" Joe Alvarez and First Mate Danielle Dunscombe, sailing the pristine waters of the US Virgin Islands every day is more than a hobby or career, it’s a thrilling, fulfilling way of life. There’s no place else they’d rather be and once you spend the day onboard Treazzure, you’ll feel the same way. "Hollywood" Joe has been sailing to and from, in and around the Virgin Islands for more than 30 years. Originally from Miami, Florida, "Hollywood" grew up in the Florida Keys and spent most of his life on the water. While in the Marines, he was stationed in Puerto Rico, then ran sailing charters in Palm Beach and Cozumel. He also spent time fishing in Costa Rica and Jamaica. But wherever he went, St. Thomas Island beckoned him home, and today "Hollywood" is one of the area’s most well-respected and knowledgeable Master Captain.

Always on board and ready with a warm welcome, First Mate Danielle is committed to ensuring every voyage aboard Treazzure is just what guests envisioned. Sharing her love of the islands and the water, Danielle enjoys helping others discover the joy of sailing, snorkeling, swimming and indulging their appetite for adventure.

Jack the Pirate Cat is Treazzure’s official "watch cat". He adopted Joe and Danielle three years ago when he was a tiny newborn lost on the streets of St. Thomas. In the three years he’s been aboard Treazzure, Jack’s grown from just 1 pound 6 ounces to 15 pounds and developed a true love for sailing on the ocean and catnapping.
